I have been a legal assistant for over nine years. I am a certified paralegal and have a Bachelors Degree in Political Science from Illinois State University. I attend continuing education courses to remain up-to-date on legal issues and the latest technology in order to better serve our clients need and keep clients informed as to the status of their cases. I am a member of the Legal Secretaries Association of McLean County. I assist legal counsel in the areas of family, real estate, civil litigation and appeals (including DCFS and administrative appeals). I have worked under the direction of Michelle Mosby-Scott since 2001.

I am married and have a son.

Judith M. McGinnes
I attended Illinois Commercial College. I have been a legal secretary since 1964 and I have vast experience in the areas of personal injury, medical malpractice, estate planning, probate and real estate. My experience has allowed me to gain a clear understanding of the legal areas in which I work and has furthered my objective of ensuring our clients receive superior legal services. I work under the direction of attorney William Allison.


Casie J. Schirer
I graduated from Illinois Central College in December 2007 with an Associated Degree in Applied Science. I have worked under the direction of Michelle Mosby-Scott since 2005. I assist in areas of family law (including dissolution, child custody, child support, etc.), will preparation and real estate. To keep up to date with the legal field, I attend continuing education seminars and classes to better serve our clients and the firm.


Alexander E. Preller
I graduated from Northwestern University in June 2009 with a Bachelors Degree in Political Science, History and Psychology, and I plan to attend law school in the Fall of 2010. I have been a legal assistant working under the direction of Michelle Mosby-Scott since 2008. I assist legal counsel in the areas of family, juvenile law, real estate, civil litigation and appeals, primarily in the field of legal research.
