I have lived in Illinois all of my life. I achieved my Bachelors Degree at Eastern Illinois University and then commenced law school immediately thereafter at Southern Illinois University. I served as Survey Editor of the Law Journal and was selected to participate in the Moot Court program during my second and third year of law school. After graduation from law school at Southern Illinois University, I relocated to Central Illinois. I have been in private practice since that time concentrating in civil litigation.
I have limited my practice for the last twelve years to family law and regularly represent clients in dissolution, child custody, pension division, removal, maintenance and post decree matters. I also represent clients in real estate matters, estate planning and other civil matters. Most of my clients are referrals from other attorneys and previous clients based upon my experience and commitment to aggressive representation. The majority of my cases are tried in McLean County; however, I also practice in the surrounding counties of DeWitt, Tazewell, Livingston, Logan, Woodford and Peoria.
